Product Description

Hydrofluoric Acid is widely utilized as pickling agent in metalworking industries for removing oxides and other impurities from steel made structures. In semiconductor industry, it is one of the most common ingredients that are used in Wright & buffered oxide etches. This acid is known to have ability to clean silicon wafers and can also be used for glass etching purposes. Having miscibility in water, Hydrofluoric Acid is also used in pharmaceuticals and thermoplastic processing industries. It shows reactivity towards glass & metal but is non-reactive to plastics hence stored in plastic containers.
